Scribbles Volume VI Issue 1: Barely Love

Barely Love, published in July 2025, explores the fragile spaces between defined relationships. These range from the almosts, the not-quites, and the forms of love that do not fit into neat categories. Rather than centering on traditional romance, these works linger on the fleeting, the uncertain, and the in-between: intimacies that hover at the edge of definition, attachments that blur friendship and desire, devotion and estrangement.
In these pages, love appears in half-light: sometimes tentative, sometimes fierce, always complex. Each piece asks what it means to care, to long, or to remain bound to another when the lines we draw around love refuse to hold.
